Through a natural steam-distillation process, the plant’s precious essence is gently extracted and preserved. More than just a botanical hydrosol, this product embodies a story of resource conservation, sustainability, and regeneration.

康芮颱風過後，靜思精舍園區內多棵肖楠樹因風災倒下。為了不辜負大自然的饋贈，志工們將木材妥善分類，透過蒸餾技術萃取出肖楠淨露，而蒸餾後的木屑則回歸藥草園，成為滋養土地的養分，完成一場生生不息的自然循環。

Following the devastation caused by Typhoon Kong-Rey, several Calocedrus trees within the Jing Si Abode grounds were felled by strong winds. Determined not to waste nature’s precious gifts, volunteers carefully sorted and repurposed the fallen timber. Through steam distillation, the wood was transformed into hydrosol, while the remaining wood chips were returned to the herb garden as natural mulch and nutrients, completing a continuous cycle of renewal and harmony with nature.

證嚴上人曾開示：「凡夫常侷限在我們的眼前，煩惱無明容易覆蓋我們的心。看到工廠內外，鋪天蓋地的的肖楠樹木，打亂了原本的排程，但大家合心協力，經過了有為法（蒸餾萃取）能將樹木，萃取成為有益身心的淨露（無為法_淨露的微量精油元素）又能讓藥草園「黃金鋪地」（木屑也能防蟲）也是一個殊勝的功德！」

Master Cheng Yen once said, "Ordinary people are often limited by what is in front of them, and afflictions and ignorance can easily cloud our minds. Seeing the mountains of camphor trees piled up inside and outside the factory disrupted the original plan, but everyone worked together to extract pure dew that is beneficial to the body and mind from the camphor trees through the means of distillation and extraction (the means of extraction without conditions is to extract trace amounts of essential oil components from the pure dew), and to 'cover the medicinal garden with gold' (the sawdust can also repel insects).
